Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner - Level 3 or Level 4, to join our Tactical Space Systems Division team. This position is located in our Dulles VA facility.
The selected candidate will partner with the business to develop and implement solutions and deliver exceptional Human Resources (HR) support in a challenging and dynamic business environment.
This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or 4.

Salary Range: $91,200 - $136,800
Salary Range 2: $113,500 - $170,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

In this job, you will:
- Serve as the business partner and consultant to internal customers and assist in the implementation of HR strategy, programs and policies across multiple client groups, including talent identification, performance management, employee relations, compensation, succession planning, organization and staff development, leadership/bench strength development, and other areas within the HR body of knowledge.
- Establish an intimate understanding of the business, build and expand relationships with client leadership teams, and create close partnerships across HR, and centers of excellence (COE's).
- Collect, analyze, and present human capital-related data as well as manage multiple projects/tasks from inception to completion in a changing environment.
- Lead bench talent reviews for respective client organizations; consult with leadership to define meaningful development experiences for identified critical talent.
- Train leadership and consult on performance measurement and compensation input. Prepare for and facilitate pay for performance sessions with leadership teams.
- Analyze and concisely present information to the management team to enable business growth and sound decision making.
- Play a key change leadership role in the company's transformation by reinforcing a culture of growth, innovation and calculated risk taking through the application of human capital strategy, tools and processes.
- Support and enable leaders to make informed decisions about talent and hold their organizations accountable for business results.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Organization Development, or related field required plus 5+ years of experience in Human Resources - OR - 3+ years of Human Resources experience with a Master's degree.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Organization Development, or related field required plus 8+ years of experience in Human Resources - OR - 6+ years of Human Resources experience with a Master's degree.
Additional Basic Qualifications for both levels:
- Understanding and application of HR principles, concepts, policies and practices.
- Experience in project management, prioritization, continuous improvement and process improvement thought process.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence others.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- No clearance required to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM-SCP) certification.
- Experience using Workday HRIS.
- Experience working on complex duties in a high-impact, time sensitive environment.
- Experience with a large customer group (400-800)
