Job Summary:

The Unit Intelligence Tactics and TTP Support shall assist in developing processes, advising on COA, and delivering tailored intelligence support to all ACC units. Use analytical tools and TTPs, databases, and web-enabled capabilities to provide units with tools and information necessary to support operations both in Garrison and Forward. Use knowledge of and experience with AF Weapons and Tactics programs to understand, prioritize, and react to unit driven tasks and provide TTP assistance to Intelligence Weapons Officers (IWOs), Advanced Intelligence Instructor Course (AIIC) graduates, and other ACC intelligence personnel. Identify emerging innovations, capabilities, and trends that can enhance intelligence activities at all USAF echelons.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging TTPs into unit-level intelligence operations and coordinate TTPs across ACC.
  • Identify and codify intelligence Lessons Learned and Best Practices and advise A2 staff on policy and guidance that impacts unit readiness and TTPs across ACC units and coordinate intelligence support to AFTTP rewrites.
  • Organize staff engagements and travel to support intelligence TTP development including AFTTPs, ACC TTPs, and other local or wing-level TTPs and attend IRTRB and other forums to synchronize training objectives with unit readiness and tactics.
  • Ensure best practices, lessons learned, and ongoing initiatives are captured from the field to include input from IWOs and AIIC graduates and liaise with the AF Weapon School on matters related to the Weapon School course preparation and spin-up.
  • Advocate, share, and integrate successful TTPs to Combatant Commands and Warfighting Staffs.
  • Manage, upload, share, and synchronize updates to the Contingency Intelligence Network Hub (CIN Hub) program.
  • Assist the Weapons and Tactics Team Chief to ensure that TDYs, outreach events, and internal meetings are appropriately managed and displayed on a shared team calendar.
  • Attend all requisite meetings when the Weapons and Tactics Chief and Deputy are out of office or TDY.
  • May be asked to attend RED FLAG, AGILE FLAG, or WEPTAC related events and should be prepared to be an active facilitator and provide tracking for after-action items.
  • Coordinate with the Unit Support, Readiness, and Training, Teams to ensure TTPs, Lessons Learned, and general support is being shared and provided across ACC units.
  • May be asked to integrate across the A2 division in support of A2 priorities and goals.
  • Plan, manage, and execute DoD events to derive emerging TTPs and lessons learned aimed at evaluating technology and toolsets.
  • Able to plan, manage, and execute ACE and Combat Edge events.
  • Manage the ACC unit deployment After Action report program to include sharing lessons learned across the force.
  • Manage and oversee the ACC Mission Design Series (MDS) mayor program.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI government security clearance.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret intelligence information to support unit-level operations and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of intelligence TTPs to develop and refine unit-specific intelligence processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with unit personnel and other intelligence analysts to achieve intelligence objectives.
  • Knowledge of intelligence training and education programs to ensure unit personnel are trained in intelligence processes and procedures.
