Mayvin is currently seeking to hire a Technical Security Engineer Subject Matter Expert to provide vital support to the United States Capitol Police, Technical Countermeasures Division in support of its Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) mission. This crucial role involves working closely with USCP stakeholders to define TSCM objectives and develop effective strategies.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a Top-Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities :
- Provide a broad range of support to the USCP's Technical Security Program
- Leads and assists with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Missions including construction security
- Performs research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and/or the development of Technical Security equipment and systems
- Stays abreast of emerging technologies and how these technologies may impact technical security. Investigates and develops advanced techniques and devices to mitigate these threats
- Independently and as part of a team, reviews, analyzes, and resolves difficult and complex technical security problems
- Resolves or recommends solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by utilizing knowledge, skills, and abilities, including the ability to interpret various directives, rules, and regulations
- Expected to be a subject matter expert, requiring formal and independent learning and the ability to translate this expertise into recommendations in specific circumstances
- Communicates orally with to customers and groups on technical security related issues
- Writes reports to document mission events, research findings, procedures, and other technical security related issues
Qualifications :
- Government certification in TSCM required
- Minimum 7 years of relevant TSCM experience
