Air Traffic Control Support

CSEngineering is looking to add an Air Traffic Control Support to our growing team!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support AFSOC’s role in airspace integration and management and command/control coordination for UAS operations worldwide. This may require accompanying government personnel to various meetings, conferences, symposiums, and other venues as needed.
• Understand and orchestrate necessary coordination amongst multiple government agencies, ATC facilities, regulatory range scheduling agencies, components’ primary points of contact, other functional divisions within HQ AFSOC and USSOCOM to ensure all.
• UAS operational issues and requirements are identified, staffed, and resolved.
• Convey and enforce Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) policy and regulation regarding USAF and USOCOM UAS operations within the National Airspace System.
• Should research, document, process, and maintain FAA Certificates of Authorization (COA), or host nation equivalent, to support UAS training, testing, and contingency operations within the NAS or host nation equivalent.
• Develop UAS guidance, training materials, and concepts of employment and operations.
• Prepare and deliver oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, and strategy sessions with other AFSOC staff branches to secure cooperation and resolve conditional matters.
• Assist the government in preparing responses to taskers from USAF staffs, units, and
• USSOCOM and/or its components regarding UAS, including assisting in preparation and delivery of technical papers and briefings.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and support to colleagues and partners.
Security Clearance: SECRET Clearance
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree.
• A certified Air Traffic Controller shall have relevant work experience and in-depth knowledge of the National Airspace System (NAS), FAAO 7110.65, 14 CFR Part 91, and 14 CFR Part 107. Can be substituted by an FAA-certified Private Pilot.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Desired experience with coordination of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
• Certificates of Waiver or Authorization (COAs) and Airspace Management.
