Position Description: ThinkTek is seeking a Business Process Analyst to optimize and refine business operations. This role is responsible for analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that improve performance and scalability. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and has a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.

Position Description: ThinkTek is seeking a Business Process Analyst to optimize and refine business operations. This role is responsible for analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that improve performance and scalability. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and has a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Process Analysis & Improvement
- Assist in evaluating and documenting existing business processes using process mapping and workflow analysis.
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in business operations and IT systems.
- Support the development of recommendations for process optimization and automation.
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Work with stakeholders to define and document functional and technical requirements for IT solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
- Ensure requirements align with DoD policies, IT standards, and mission objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Participate in meetings and workshops to gather input from end users, business leaders, and technical teams.
- Support communication between business and IT teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Assist in creating presentations, reports, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Testing & Validation
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by validating that IT solutions meet business and functional requirements.
- Assist in developing test cases and scenarios to ensure alignment with business processes.
Required:
- Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of requirements analysis techniques, such as use case development and process mapping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and/or business process modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Clearance:
- Minimum Active Secret Cleraance
- Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, or IT-related projects.
Desired:
- Masters Degree
- Familiarity with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, DoD business processes, policies, and/or IT systems.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other IT project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or business process modeling software.
- Previous experience supporting government or defense contracts.
