Position Description
The Financial Systems Analyst (Journeyman) will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to DCSA's financial systems. This position encompasses the maintenance and enhancement of financial management processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting audit activities. Your future duties and responsibilities:
1. **Financial Systems General Support:**
- Provide expert advice and support for DCSA’s financial systems, including DAI, NBIS, ECAM, ABM, Advana, and NGRMS, focusing on full-scope planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) .
- Coordinate with financial system analysts to address system malfunctions, data errors, and operational issues, ensuring seamless operations and future enhancements .
- Prepare business process flows in compliance with relevant acts and standards, supporting financial statement audits and audit remediation efforts [doc2].
2. **Oracle EPM Cloud, ECWM, and DAI Support:**
- Guide the implementation and upgrade of Oracle EPM Cloud, ECWM, and DAI, ensuring integration with legacy systems and addressing manual and automated processes .
- Support requirements gathering, testing, and remediation efforts in coordination with DLA PMO and DCSA stakeholders .
3. **Billing and Collections Applications:**
- Maintain and enhance billing and collection processes, ensuring compliance with internal control and audit standards .
- Develop project schedules and support the transition to automated billing and collections processes, aligning with DCSA's strategic goals .
4. **Acquisition and Budget Management (ABM) and G-Invoicing Support:**
- Align resource management activities between DAI, ABM, and G-Invoicing, providing recommendations for process improvement and data integrity enhancement .
- Conduct training sessions and support system troubleshooting to ensure effective use of G-Invoicing and related systems .
5. **Travel and Program Support:**
- Develop and maintain DTS transactions and monitor system performance, ensuring successful expenditure and accounting of travel funds .
- Provide Help Desk support for resolving DTS and PCS funding issues and invoicing concerns .
6. **Data Custodianship and Analytics:**
- Assist in data gathering and analysis across multiple systems, supporting informed decision-making and data quality improvement .
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
BA/BS with 2-5 years experience. Degree waiverable with additional experience
Extensive experience with federal financial systems and processes.
- Strong coordination and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and provide strategic recommendations.
