The Opportunity:
As a CACI SOUTHCOM China Strategic Analyst, you will serve as a consultant and recognized technical expert in assessing Chinese strategic and operational objectives in the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). You will serve as an experienced foreign affairs adviser to the USSOUTHCOM Commander (CCDR); J5Director, J5 Strategy, Plans, and Policy Directorate (SCJ5); and the Strategy and Strategic Planning Division (SCJ55) on a broad range of political-military strategy and policy issues regarding the People's Republic of China (PRC), Peoples Liberation Army (PLA), and regional dynamics influenced by the PRC, within the USSOUTHCOM AOR.

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Provides specialized senior-level counter-PRC and GPC expertise in Strategic Analysis to support the execution of multi -disciplinary intelligence fusion activities and support the SOFETOPS mission.
- Assist with fusing operations and intelligence information focused on PRC and regional threat networks while producing white papers, regional threat analysis and assessments, and short- and long-term assessments. You will generate products based on customers' RFIs.
- Serve as a consultant and recognized technical expert in assessing PRC strategic and operational objectives in the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area of responsibility (AOR).
- Provides prompt, systematic, and continuing advice to commanders at all levels of the Combatant Command (COCOM)to assist in shaping command activities in support of global US strategies towards C-PRC.
- Utilizes expert and professional knowledge attained to formulate, determine, and/or influence USSOUTHCOM policies and efforts as it relates to the Chinese government's activities within the USSOUTHCOM AOR.
- Exercises sound professional judgment in resolving and recommending innovative solutions to unique or novel COCOM strategic and operational level problems.
- Conduct special research and investigations into problems for which there are no established precedents.
- Prepare and supports the CCDR or his/her designated representative for participation in interagency and international meetings (e.g., Senior Leader Dialogue, etc.) regarding the PRC.
- Reviews proposals and prepares proposed SCJ5 and SCJ55 positions on agenda issues for meetings - preparation includes oral and written briefings, slide presentations, reports, technical analyses, and prepared statements, as required.
- Accompany USSOUTHCOM, SCJ5 or designated representative to bilateral, multi lateral, or United States Government(USG) meetings, as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
- Willing to take a CI Poly
- Technical expert in assessing Chinese strategic and operational objectives; expert and professional knowledge attained to formulate, determine, and/or influence USSOUTHCOM policies and eff orts.
- Expert knowledge of the SOCSOUTH Area of Responsibility
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience, or associate degree and seven years of experience, or nine years of relevant work experience. We will also consider candidates with five years of directly relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in intelligence coordination roles of responsibility within an O-5 or above tactical, operational, or strategic level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope.
- 7 years of experience in intelligence analysis and organizing global intelligence operations.
Desired:
- Language proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
- Current CI Poly
- Must be able to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
- Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.
