Overview:
BlueHalo is seeking a Security Support Officer to provide security assistance in support of physical security, personnel processing, special activities, Special Access Program coordination, and industrial security. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison with program and government personnel in suggesting, implementing, and monitoring compliance with special security policies and procedures.

LOCATION: This position is located ON SITE in Richmond, VA.
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 to $120,000

Overview:
BlueHalo is seeking a Security Support Officer to provide security assistance in support of physical security, personnel processing, special activities, Special Access Program coordination, and industrial security. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison with program and government personnel in suggesting, implementing, and monitoring compliance with special security policies and procedures.
You'd like to do this:
- Formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures.
- Suggesting, implementing, and monitoring compliance with special security policies and procedures.
- Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representatives.
- Performing as a liaison with Government and industrial security officials overseeing collateral and higher access and badge procedures.
- Conducting security training or security inspections.
- Planning and accrediting facilities per the ICD 7051 standard
- Briefing personnel on security practices, concepts, and programs.
- Exercising sound judgment to resolve security issues.
You're required to have this:
- Minimum of six (6) years Physical, Personnel and Special Security experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational level experience preferred.
- Experience with personnel background investigations for collateral and special security clearance actions.
- Experience in compartmented programs in the DoD, U.S. Intelligence Community or supporting U.S. Contractors.
- Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include National Industrial Security Program Supplement, DoD 5200.01 Volume 1-3, DoD 5200.02, and/or DoD 5105.21 Volumes 1-3.
- Active Top Secret Clearance is required.
