Amentum is actively seeking a Project Lead with maritime domain awareness (MDA) experience to execute portfolio requirements development, tech surveys, technical demonstrations, systems integration, and assessment activities for designated projects. The successful candidate will drive project success in collaboration with DHS S&T leaders, DHS Component staffs, contract team members, vendors, and other subject matter experts and supporting organizations.
The position is telework with periodic travel.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as Amentum project lead for customer-focused maritime domain project activities, directly reporting to Amentum Program Management.
- Provide system and project management technical expertise to help guide all project execution issues
- Support and/or lead integrated product teams (IPTs) in executing tasks as assigned.
- Develop, review, and track maritime domain awareness capability gaps and requirements activities and related project documents.
- Develop RFI's and review technical assessments of emerging maritime domain awareness technologies and systems
- Review performer/vendor's technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Develop, plan, and support system integration activities and production of related project artifacts
- Oversee project activities to ensure quality, conformance with conceptual design, and completeness of engineering tasks
- Work with vendors and other team members to develop, execute, and assess maritime domain awareness technology demonstrations and evaluations
- Track project contract acquired property from delivery through final acceptance by Government
- Develop formal project operations and sustainment transition recommendations and project closeout reports
- Advise program management team on matters affecting project success, schedule, and cost impacts, and develop project recovery plans as required
- Represent the organization in meetings and conferences as required
- Support Amentum business development and capture efforts as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May supervise other staff members.
Minimum Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship
- Must have DHS entry on duty (EOD)/Public Trust suitability
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years related work experience, or demonstrated equivalent
- Knowledge of maritime domain awareness operations/analysis and/or assessments, testing and evaluation activities
- Experience with DHS, DoD, or industry for major systems or programs
- Proficiency with developing schedules, risk registers, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), dashboards, word-processing, spreadsheets, Microsoft Project, and integrated software applications
- Up to 20% travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Program Management Professional certification
- Active Secret/Top Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of DHS, DoD, or other law enforcement sUAS efforts during the last five years
- Experience using, designing, and/or assessing maritime domain awareness systems
