Counter-Unmanned Aerial System Fabricator

Key Role:

Perform as a Counter Unmanned Aerial System Fabricator and be responsible for fabricating fully functional unmanned aerial systems. Possess extensive knowledge and experience in basic electronic, CNC Machining, 3D design and printing, Molding and Casting Techniques, common programming languages, common unmanned aircraft components, programming, and characteristics, software defined radios, precision navigation hardware and principles, principles of electronic warfare and radio frequencies. Understand general aviation principles applied to the unmanned aircraft role. Be able to research and apply current and advanced procedures used to reduce the threat of these devices. Research threat device information based on current real-world intelligence and events. Identify and resource electronic warfare and aviation components which serve as relevant tests and examples of counter unmanned aerial systems. Assist instructors with writing scenarios based on current tactics, techniques, and procedures, incorporating knowledge of threat devices, aircraft, or electronic components while implementing exploitation considerations into training tasks. Play an integral role in developing training scenarios and UAS threat injects and assisting with the planning of these within the framework of Army Flight regulations. Navigate Aviation requirements and replicate relevant unmanned threats while coordinating with internal and external training stakeholders will enhance Force Protection and Readiness of Soldiers and units.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with working with the U.S. military as an NCO or Officer
  • Experience with C-UAS, UAS or Electromagnetic Warfare
  • Experience with 3D printing hardware and software
  • Experience with unmanned aircraft or radio-controlled aircraft components, capabilities, and programming
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with training development for Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) training methods
  • Experience with Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) UAS
  • Experience with training integration for organizations at the Battalion level and above
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
