We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Junior Task Manager to provide support for a Department of Defense (DoD) Air Force (AF) contract. This role requires strong IT management experience, familiarity with DoD enterprise infrastructure, and a solid understanding of governance, policies, procedures, and cybersecurity practices. The ideal candidate will have proven success in leading IT projects and managing services while ensuring compliance with federal regulations, security standards, and NIST frameworks, including Zero Trust principles.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Junior Task Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Junior Task Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead and manage complex IT services and projects, ensuring successful implementation and compliance with Air Force or DoD requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice related to IT management, enterprise infrastructure, and security best practices.
  • Ensure the alignment of IT projects with DoD and Air Force governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the development and execution of information assurance and security strategies, including IAM policies, NIST frameworks, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within DoD, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and adherence to security regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of IT services, ensuring effective performance and compliance.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of IT operations and the implementation of best practices.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Junior Task Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent IAM or IAT Level 2 certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of IT management experience, including:
  • Leading complex IT management services and projects.
  • Experience with Air Force or DoD enterprise infrastructure, governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience with NIST frameworks and NIST Zero Trust principles.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects and services, particularly in a DoD or government environment.
  • Understanding of Information Assurance Management (IAM) policies, NIST frameworks, NIST Zero Trust principles, and DoD security requirements.
  • Strong ability to work with various teams, stakeholders, and agencies to ensure project success and compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and project teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
