Job Description:
As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in:
Managing and maintaining Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) on both physical and virtual environments.
Adhering to change management practices, including writing Change Requests and seeking approval.
Assisting in storage and data management, specifically file and folder permissions.
Supporting the operational transition of enterprise solutions into production.
Serving as the primary point of contact for local server, network, and telecom repair of District infrastructure components.
Coordinating Level 3 support with District technical personnel.
Requirements:
Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE)
At least an Interim Secret Clearance
SIPRNet experience
0-4 years of IT experience (Current opening requires 3-4 years of experience; a bachelor’s degree can replace 4 years of experience)
Understanding of Windows Server 2012/2016, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, and the ability to maintain other Windows core services & VMware
Compensation:
$70-75K - Federal holiday pay & accrued PTOEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
