Insight Global is actively hiring a Network/SATCOM Engineer to join our team supporting a large Government Program at Fort Bragg, NC.
This candidate will be one of two Engineers on a team responsible for maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting the Network and SATCOM systems in the environment. Experience analyzing and troubleshooting VLAN, Routing, IP Addresses and subnetting will be critical in this role. Candidates should have a strong background in Cisco Routers and Switches, with familiarity of firewalls. Strong experience with Satellite Communications (SATCOM) particularly signal flow will be critical as well.
Minimum job requirements include:
- Bachelors Degree and 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer; or No Degree and 8+ years of experience
- Active Secret Clearance with the ability to be upgraded to a Top Secret Clearance
- 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification(s)
- Experience troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using at least one of the following routing methods: BGP, ISIS or OSPF, Static routing.
