Background

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs in a government organizations
• Design or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
• Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
• Supervise computer programmers

Requirements

• MS or MA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline
• 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree
• 10+ years of experience performing the duties below
• 3 years' experience with CICD pipelines, SQL, Java, JavaScript, containers, and micro-services architecture
• 2 years' experience with HTML, Git and CSS
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent
• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance

Preferred

• Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience with SAFe, AMQP (RabbitMQ)
• Java ORM such as hibernate, Java with spring or Java EE
• Restful web services, SPA, ReactJS/Redux, Websockets
