Network and Computer Systems Administrator

AERMOR is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support network security, system administration, and compliance for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) IT infrastructure. This position requires expertise in information system troubleshooting, vulnerability management, DISA STIG implementation, and cloud-based IT solutions to ensure secure and reliable operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in security-focused system administration, including the deployment and support of McAfee Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), Microsoft Defender Endpoint (MDE), and ACAS in DoD IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and recommendations for information systems.
• Perform vulnerability management and generate compliance reports.
• Implement Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Ensure compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
• Support Navy RMF and NAVSEA network security standards.
• Deploy and manage Web-hosting platforms to include: Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Azure Application Services, Amazon Elastic Beanstalk, NGINX Load Balancer/Web Server
• Manage T-SQL database security and administration.
• Implement Cloud services for U.S. Government and DoD environments.
• Deploy and manage DoD Information Security systems, including: McAfee Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), Microsoft Defender Endpoint (MDE), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have SEC+ certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
• Strong understanding of DoD IT security requirements, including STIGs and RMF.
• Experience with Windows-based and Linux-based operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Amazon Web Cloud Services.
• Hands-on experience with network and server administration.
• Knowledge of web hosting, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity defense systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Navy RMF and NAVSEA networks.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
• Prior experience in U.S. Government or DoD IT environments.
