Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to provide Linux and Windows System Administration on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting BFTN. The selected candidate will work as the primary System Administrator for a customer managing physical and virtual Linux servers running HBSS, ACAS and WSUS. The selected candidate will also manage Windows laptop and desktops systems running Windows 10.

Specific job duties include:
- Linux system administration for client and server operating systems such as, but not limited to, CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Administration includes both the Linux operating system and associated web application servers.
- Download, document, test, and send for upload to NIPR SAILOR antivirus definitions for the HFIP, SNR, Windows GUI, and Firewall components.
- Download, develop, document, test, and send for upload to NIPR SAILOR update patches to the operating system and hosted applications for the HFIP, SNR, Windows GUI, and Firewall components.
- Windows 10 desktop and laptop administration
- Renewing licenses and updating scan policies/definitions for ACAS.
- Perform antivirus definition and update patches to maintain IA compliance for routine IA scanning in support of the Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Perform mitigation of vulnerabilities identified ACAS scans.
- Develop or revise cybersecurity-related technical publications such as the Password Policy, Backup and Restore Procedures, and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs).
