Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled PKI Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and integrating Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, with a focus on code signing and key management operations. You will design and implement a certificate lifecycle management process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the PKI solution within the program. This role requires extensive experience in managing and maintaining PKI environments, including Active Directory Certificate Services. The engineer will ensure adherence to NIST 800-57 and CNS 1300 standards throughout the integration process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and integrate PKI solutions focused on code signing and key management.
  • Implement and manage certificate lifecycle management processes in accordance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, operations, and support teams to integrate PKI solutions into the program.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST 800-57 and CNS 1300 standards for PKI operations.
  • Provide expertise in Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services and other PKI technologies.
  • Take ownership of large projects, with an ability to work independently and manage critical tasks while also collaborating with other engineers and teams when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in PKI and related technologies.
  • IAM Level III DoDI 8570 certification required.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification required.
  • Secret Clearance required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently on large projects, as well as within a collaborative DevSecOps environment.
  • 5-7 years of experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services and PKI technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of X.509 Certificate Management Standards.
  • Strong understanding of NIST 800-57 and CNS 1300 standards for PKI implementation and management.
