AID is looking for a customer service position to provide access credentials to visitors at Arnold Air Force Base, as well as identification cards (military ID and other common access cards) to base employees.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct verification and issue all Department of Defense (DoD) credentials to military, military retirees, and military dependents, DoD civilians and base contractor personnel
  • Use Air Force systems and workstations to issue the Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Update CACs as necessary to reflect changes in personal information
  • Terminate CACs as necessary and execute revocation requests
  • Explains military ID policies and entitlements to customers
  • Issue other base access credentials to visitors such as vendors and test customers
  • Account for and maintain security for all DoD Forms used in producing base credentials
  • Verify, prepare and issue various types of entry and identification credentials
  • Responsible for protecting the privacy/confidentiality of personnel data
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to work at Arnold AFB
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

Desired Qualification:
  • Two-year's work experience in a related position such as driver's license agency, bank teller, office assistant or similar setting dealing with the public
