Network Engineer

Evolver Federal is seeking a Network Engineer specializing in Cisco hardware to join our team supporting government customers in Washington DC. In this role, you will support the project of redesigning and implementing upgraded network infrastructure.

This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days onsite in Washington, DC and 2 days remote

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day support activities to maintain enterprise campus and data center network infrastructure based as directed by Senior Network Engineer
• Monitor, maintain and administer the health of the enterprise-wide network infrastructure
• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network devices (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
• Install and configure Cisco wireless controllers, WAPs and access switches

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of Information Technology experience with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in LAN infrastructure support in an enterprise wide environment.
• One of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA or higher
• 1 year of experience with Cisco Layer 2/3 switches and routers
• 1 year of experience with Cisco wireless solutions
• 1 year of experience with Cisco Prime, and Cisco ISE
• 1 year of experience with Cisco Wireless controllers and Access Points

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in LAN infrastructure support in an enterprise wide environment.
• 3 years of experience with Cisco Layer 2/3 switches and routers
• 3 years of experience with Cisco wireless solutions
• 3 years of experience with Cisco Prime, and Cisco ISE
• 3 years of experience with Cisco Wireless controllers and Access Points
• Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills
