Please Note this position supports our 2 nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2 nd Shift.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Operating tools such as lathes, milling machines, 5 Axis CNC equipment, shapers, planers, and precision grinders.
- Use of common machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
- Following sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and methods of setup.
- Understanding of standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
- May modify numerically controlled programs on numerically controlled (NC) machines.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year work experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience using tools such as lathes, milling machines, 5 Axis CNC equipment, shapers, planers, and precision grinders.
- Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
