Cyberspace Defense Watch Officer (CDWO)
Provide on premise Watch Officer Support to the Cyberspace Defense Reporting Team (CDRT). Work shall be performed in accordance with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 6510.01B and DoDI 8530.01.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the Agency’s Directives Management lifecycle according to the following phases:
o Identify
o Analysis
o Report
o Remediation/Mitigation
o Lessons Learned
• Assist in the documentation, reporting, and management of Commander Critical Information Reporting (CCIR) and local CCIR SOPs.
• Prepare, coordinate, and push Situational Awareness Briefings
• Host Directive Status Update meetings to review open tasks with stakeholders; providing subject matter (SME) level guidance on scanning signatures and detection capabilities; Validate and monitor corrective actions/remediation of vulnerabilities on information systems.
• Collaborate with DoD and/or Non-DoD organizations to actively share vulnerability information in order to shape cyber mission space for vulnerability mitigation.
• Attend higher level classified and unclassified briefings to maintain situational awareness into events that may impact the Agency.
• Provide Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual metrics with regards to performance and mission success
Requirements:
• Active Secret security clearance
• At least 5 years of related experience
• DoD IAT II required certification/s (one of the following):
o CCNA-Security
o CySA+ (CSA+)
o GICSP
o GSEC
o Security+ CE
o CND
o SSCP
• DoD CSSP Analyst required certification/s (one of the following):
o CEH
o CFR
o CCNA Cyber Ops
o CCNA-Security
o CySA+ **
o GCIA
o GCIH
o GICSP
o Cloud+
o SCYBER
o PenTest+
