The Opportunity:
You will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of 5 experienced test engineers and play a crucial role in ensuring quality across all modification project efforts supporting the Satellite Control Network (SCN)
You will be able to shape and improve existing testing processes and methodologies for critical space infrastructure as well as contribute to the maintenance and evolution of vital satellite control systems. Additionally, you will be working with advanced technologies in the field of satellite communications and control and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in testing practices for satellite control systems

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $68,400-$143,700

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and methodologies across multiple projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Oversee automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage
Manage test environments, tools, and resources to optimize testing processes
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality - Drive initiatives to enhance testing practices, including performance, security, and usability testing
- Communicate test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders at all levels
- Participate in resource planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making related to quality assurance
Qualifications:
Required :
- 5 years of experience and a relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered
- Current US Secret Security Clearance
- Proven experience in leading test engineering teams
- Experience with designing and implementing automated testing frameworks
- Experience implementing training plans for training new employees
- Familiarity with various testing tools and environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing
Desired :
- Knowledge of software and database testing methodologies
- Experience with developing automated test scripts
- Knowledge of Agile software testing strategies
