Exercise Program Analyst
Key Role:
Serve as the Exercise Program Analyst supporting the analysis and management of resource requirements for exercises by supporting the development of comprehensive budget estimates in support of exercise design, planning, and execution. Support the client by providing finan cia l management support over multiple lines of accounting, while identifying funding gaps, mitigation strategies, and monitoring the execution of exercise funds to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Coordinate and integrate with key stakeholders to maximize resource allocation. Support the development of exercise budget estimates and annual exercise budget submissions by coordinating with exercise planners and staff comptrollers.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Department of Defense ( DoD ) budget and finan cia l management with an emphasis on exercise funding and resource allocation
- 3+ years of experience assisting with developing and managing complex budget s, tracking expenditures, and analyzing finan cia l data
- Knowledge of DoD finan cia l regulations, policies , and procedures
- Experience using the Micro sof t 365 suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration field
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with DoD finan cia l management systems
- Experience with the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle ( JELC )
- Experience with the Joint Training Tool
- Experience on a U.S. Navy Fleet or Marine Expeditionary Force or higher echelon staff
- Knowledge of European or African areas of responsibility
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
