Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Surveillance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive surveillance operations to detect and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information and equipment. Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Surveillance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive surveillance operations to detect and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information and equipment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, using advanced technologies to stay one step ahead of potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical, signals, and technical surveillance operations to detect and identify potential security threats
- Utilize various surveillance techniques, including foot, vehicle, and technical surveillance
- Install, maintain, and operate technical surveillance equipment
- Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and anomalies
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information and equipment
- Collaborate with other teams to investigate and track security incidents
- Provide training and support to other members on surveillance procedures and equipment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technical surveillance technologies and techniques
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to stay informed about emerging threats and advantageous technologies
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in cyber operations, technical operations, or a related computer science or engineering field
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation, including signal processing and pattern recognition
- Strong understanding of operational planning, including risk management and threat assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science) preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial telecommunications protocols, visual surveillance systems, including protocols, manufacturin design, and deployment
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Technical or cyber operations certification from relevant government entity, or certification in a related field, such as security
- Experience working in a high-stakes, fast paced, government or military environment
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to surveillance and privacy (e.g. foreign lawful intercept capabilities)
Work Environment:
- Surveillance Operators work in a variety of settings, including offices, vehicles, and outdoor environments
- Will be required to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends
- 15% travel
Required Clearance:
