Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.
The Information Security Tech shall be responsible for maintaining and monitoring all network security access points and providing vulnerability reports to management.

The Information Security Tech shall be responsible for maintaining and monitoring all network security access points and providing vulnerability reports to management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial review of all classified meeting plans and perform spot inspections, not limited to PII, NNPI, Classified Material holdings, SF700/701/702 Forms, CUI, NATO, and RD/FRD.
- Issue IDs and monitor access; assist clients with password creation and usage.
- Audit access throughout systems/applications and ensure access is at appropriate levels.
- Analyze systems, security controls, and event logs to detect nefarious activity.
- Build documentation of existing processes and exceptions based on audit findings.
- Provide program-specific input for the development of new application security documentation.
- Conduct audits of facilities' security controls to ensure they are working correctly.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) to assess and identify security compliance gaps and propose technical and operational remediation solutions.
- Install CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion hardware cabling, and other forms of cabling as technology continues to evolve.
- Conduct testing of installed equipment and provide basic programming, such as adding card readers, cameras, and alarm points to any system.
- Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repair.
- Support the Information Security team with administrative needs including filing, escorting, scanning, form completion, editing, documenting, and writing.
- Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
- Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associate degree in computer science or related discipline preferred.
- 2+ years of work experience in Information Technology, Information Security, Security Administration, or related field.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have the ability to maintain a Secret clearance for the lifecycle of the project.
- Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to build surveys and perform inspections.
- Ability to handle classified material and knowledge of document control.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced working environment.
- Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English language.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-performance-based environment.
- Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff, government personnel, and management.
- Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
- Travel up to 10% as required.
