Junior Subcontracts Administrator

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Corporate Office - Huntsville, AL)

Description:

Seeking a highly motivated Junior Subcontracts Administrator who will work under the supervision of our Director of Contracts and closely with our Partners, Executive Team, and Business Unit Leads.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Actively support the drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, Purchasing Agreements, Consulting and Licensing Agreements, and others as needed

• Actively participate in the Contract Department's process improvement including maintaining a master contract log and maintaining/updating language standards for existing contract documents, as needed

• Maintain and file subcontract documentation in compliance with Company's processes and procedures

• Advise the Program Management team of any risk issues applicable to subcontracts

• Review Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) clauses and requirements on solicitations working from the Prime to be flowed to the Subcontractor

• Support proposal efforts: Complete Representations & Certifications, and other contractual related submission documents:

o Supplier/Vendor documentation to include pricing requests,

Representations & Certifications, OCI Certification

o Assist in writing, and submitting RFPs and Data Calls to subcontracting partners

Required Skills:

• Background in, and thorough understanding of, Government Contracts, proposals, agreements, and like documents and related compliance matters

• Exposure to and experience with various contract types and vehicles

• Strong knowledge and ability to apply requirements of federal contracting terms and conditions, including FAR, DFAR and applicable agency supplement requirements to contract administration activities

• Ability to multitask and address/solve complex issues; pay strict attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment while performing tasks independently.

• Effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong Microsoft Office skills

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance, if needed

• Travel as required, but not anticipated

• Ability to travel to Corporate office as needed

Desired Skills:

• Costpoint experience

• Basic understanding of export compliance, EAR/ITAR rules and regulations and laws as it applies to defense services on Federal Government Contracts

• Experience with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business related field; Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

• Minimum of 2 to 5 experience in Government Contracting.

• Certification in or completion of a Government Contracts compliance course
