Job Summary:
Work with the Wireless Connectivity Solutions team to design, implement, and maintain system and equipment installation projects in various areas of the country. The incumbent will be involved in research and development projects in the wireless connectivity solutions area.
Responsibilities:
Design, upgrade, and maintain wireless connectivity systems
Continual Service Improvement - Brainstorm and implement future system improvements
Discover problems and provide solutions to issues that arise. Utilize logic and reasoning when troubleshooting difficult issues. Develop solutions to challenges, as well as manage multiple issues at the same time
Develop innovative, effective new solutions and designs
Speak to and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, such as clients, sub-contractors, vendors, management, cybersecurity, and network engineering staff during the development, installation, and maintenance of a system
Create control features to ensure systems effectively meet the company’s quality standards
Engage in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational
Serve as technical point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
Understand and appropriately respond to feedback
Communicate with management and executives to keep projects aligned with company goals
Communicate effectively to relay important information, conduct training, and communicate solutions to complex challenges
Supervise the Engineering Team
Perform other duties within this scope as assigned
Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years’ experience in an IT or Engineering related field; or 8+ years direct experience supporting IT network engineering systems
Exceptional degree of customer-service orientation
Security+, Network+, CCNA certifications a plus.
Prior Military experience preferred
Active DoD Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a clearance
