The Threat Management Specialist II is a security professional providing analytical threat management support and operational security analysis to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and information to the customer. Threat Management Specialist II tasks shall include but are not limited to the following:
What You'll Need to Succeed
Education: High School/GED and 7 years of experience or Associate's Degree or higher and 5 years of experience.
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/CI Poly
Location: Chantilly, Virginia - On Customer Site
Travel: Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS

Knowledge and experience in antiterrorism, analytical risk management, data mining, Lexis-Nexis, and OSINT tools.
Ability to assist with performing thorough research, well-reasoned analysis, and quick issue resolution.
Writing and research skills and demonstrated ability to write clear, concise reports, assessments, and documentation.
Knowledge and understanding of diverse security disciplines - physical security, personnel security, information security, and operations security.

Work Requirements
- Conduct all-source research and consolidate threat information from a variety of official and open sources for analysis to support the customer's CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Coordinate with security personnel and agencies at all customer sites to maintain cognizance of current threat environments in the development and publication of localized threat assessments.
- Analyze cross-source information to identify data correlations, patterns, and trends.
- Liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and subject matter experts to discuss and analyze threat data, lessons learned, and provide recommendations.
- Maintain resource library of threat agency points of contact, websites, and analyst partners.
- Prepare and disseminate Be On the Lookout (BOLO) and threat advisory bulletins for persons, events, and potential technology/weaponry threats that may affect customer locations.
- Attend agency intelligence center, task force, and threat working group meetings.
- Utilize and maintain threat tools and databases to record threat information, track events, and analyze trends.
- Record and analyze incidents and events daily and determine disposition.
- Utilize CCTV cameras for real-time and forensic analysis of incidents and events.
- Work closely with threat and antiterrorism partners to analyze changes in the threat environment and brief findings to the customer for action.
- Write logical, well-constructed threat assessments, briefings, and presentations clearly documenting all research and analysis.
- Capable of generating short notice threat analysis of events and incidents occurring locally, within the CONUS and at OCONUS locations.
- Conduct travel within the Washington Metropolitan Area, CONUS, with limited travel to OCONUS locations in support of the customer's threat management program.
- Serve as threat management representative at forums, symposiums, and industry conferences.
- Provide general, multi-disciplined security support small/large in volume and/or scale to the customer as required.
