SAP PP DS Manufacturing Consultant (16788)

Baer is looking for SAP PP DS Manufacturing Consultant for a 6+ month Federal Remote Project.

Title: SAP PP DS Manufacturing Consultant
Location: Remote with limited Travel
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: Hourly Plus Travel Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)

Responsibilities:

• Design SAP PP DS solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
• Create functional specifications and documentation for system configurations.
• Configure and customize SAP PP DS modules to meet the specific needs of the client. This includes master data setup, production orders, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling.
• Work with other SAP modules such as SAP MM (Material Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP WM (Warehouse Management) to ensure seamless integration across the supply chain.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of the SAP PP DS system.
• Collaborate with end-users during the testing phase to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP DS systems.
• Address and resolve issues, perform system updates, and implement enhancements to improve system performance.

Requirements:

• SAP PP DS manufacturing and shop floor execution experience with integration to MES applications
• Proven experience as a SAP PP DS consultant with a focus on manufacturing processes. Experience with full project lifecycle implementations is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PP DS modules, including configuration and customization.
• Understanding of integration with other SAP modules. Knowledge of ABAP programming is a plus.

• SAP certifications in relevant modules are a plus
