IT Infrastructure Project Manager

This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will manage MARFORRES Facility IT infrastructure on FSRM and MILCON projects.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for IT Infrastructure Project Manager: $85,000 to $90,000.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

IT Infrastructure Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist in the tracking of and provide subject matter expert for infrastructure matters as they relate to MARFORRES. This support will include interfacing between Facilities and other departments and functional areas to provide guidance and infrastructure understanding of requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for timeline development, site access, updating drawings/plans/documentation, and will attend meetings daily to ensure project clarity.
  • Chair weekly meeting to ensure G6 is informed of construction projects in a timely manner, will provide site drawings and facilities information to stakeholders as required, and will provide weekly status updates of all on-going projects.
  • Review construction documentation to include drawings, project planning documents, and white papers and provide feedback including accuracy and alteration recommendations.
  • Ensure all infrastructure is installed and maintained to support MARFORREC MCEN and UFC Specifications. Contractor will conduct site visits to provide guidance and recommendations to MARFORRES G-6, FAC on existing and future site-specific IT projects.
  • Provides infrastructure requirement inputs during project planning and reviews and provides feedback on all building drawings for infrastructure requirements.
  • Track and oversee the Remote Site Infrastructure Maintenance functions and process to ensure infrastructure equipment meets mission requirements.
  • Coordinating oversight of the schedules and entities tasked for the accomplishment of this work. Contractor shall coordinate to ensure that all IT infrastructure tasks of construction projects are completed on time.
  • Coordinate infrastructure construction requirements. Acts as a liaison to coordinate IT requirements and schedules between the contactor, MARFORRES G6, MARFORRES Regional Facility Managers, and Project Monitors.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


IT Infrastructure Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • A bachelor's degree in related field, or education/past performance in the related field.
  • 3-5 years of US Military experience in a related position or field is required (U.S. Marine Corp. experience is preferred & highly desired).
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral & written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry out support tasks related to facilities operations as presented.
  • On-site work.
  • Travel: Approximately 25%.
  • Clearance: Ability to acquire a Secret clearance.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
