This role is fully onsite in Annapolis, Maryland
Position Overview/Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining hardware/software-based CNO capabilities
- Apply knowledge of security concepts, networks, and programming to enhance CNO capabilities
- Supervise and mentor subordinate team members, ensuring high performance and technical expertise
- Ensure compliance with software development standards and lead troubleshooting and debugging efforts
- Communicate project status effectively to leadership and customers, ensuring alignment with objectives
- Collaborate with other technical teams and stakeholders to develop secure, robust solutions
Required Skills for Computer Network Operations Development Lead:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline, or equivalent experience (e.g., High School + 16 years, Associates + 14 years, Master's + 10 years, PhD + 8 years)
- 12+ years of relevant experience in CNO development or related fields
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming, particularly for network or security applications
- Strong experience with TCP/IP networking and socket-level programming
- Expertise in low-level internals of one or more technology areas (e.g., Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network Devices)
- TS SCI CI Poly required to start (CI Poly held within the last 7 years)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams
- Unit testing experience and a deep understanding of software development principles
- Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible) and CI/CD pipelines/DevSecOps development
Desired Certifications/Qualifications:
- CNO capability development experience
- Experience in software analysis, reverse engineering, and assembly programming
- Industry certifications such as Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP) or C++ Certified Professional Programmer Certification (CPP)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and tools
