AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research of industry, DoD, and other government best practices to assist in the development and/or update and implementation of Test & Evaluation (T&E) policy and guidance (e.g., data standards, mission-based risk assessment, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) best-practices and standards codified into a Department of Defense Instruction (DODI), simulation interface design).
  • Develop policy for Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) and Live Fire Test & Evaluation (LFT&E).
  • Develop and coordinate DoD policies (e.g., Instructions and Manuals) and guidance (e.g., Companion Guides) to increase T&E efficiency and rigor and to respond to advanced emerging technologies and threats including software T&E, cyber T&E, artificial intelligence-enabled systems, interoperability, emerging technologies and threads, mission thread T&E, and joint warfighting concepts.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of policy analysis experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $107,800.00/Yr. - USD $180,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
