What we are looking for
Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator with Power Platform experience to support a contract with one of our federal customers.
Location: On-site in DC. Must be willing to commute to DC regularly.
The successful candidate will be accountable to:
• Monitor and maintain enterprise systems using System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
• Install, configure, and manage applications on the network.
• Administer M365 environments with a focus on Azure and Active Directory.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate IT tasks and improve efficiency.
• Perform system maintenance, resolve errors, and document solutions.
• Deploy software upgrades, patches, and manage system backups.
• Analyze support tickets for trends and implement strategies to reduce escalation volume.
• Assist the helpdesk with escalated incidents and provide technical guidance.
• Research and implement new solutions to optimize enterprise system performance.
• Utilize SCCM for workstation and application deployment.
• Take ownership of Power Platform development and maintenance, including designing and implementing workflow automation, dashboards, reports, and business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Engaging directly with team members and stakeholders to define requirements and provide best practices.
• Delivering quality solutions within estimated project timelines.

What you bring
Experience, Education & Training:
- 4+ years of enterprise IT experience in system administration, networking, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, IT infrastructure, Active Directory, SCCM, and MECM/SCOM monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently to resolve complex issues.
- CompTIA Security+ certification required.
