Capability Unit
Metrea Algorithmics (MAX) provides unique engineering services, cloud-based cyber operations infrastructure, advanced tactics, techniques and procedures training, and a full suite of wireless communications survey and reconnaissance sensors that enable real-time multi-domain awareness while enhancing command and control.

Position Summary
Reporting to a Technical Product Manager within MAX and supporting the greater Electromagnetic and Cyber Group with signals intelligence, electronic warfare, and cyberspace (SI/EW/Cyber) technical acumen, the Product Technician is responsible for (1) sustainment and execution of SI/EW/Cyber training courses within MAX, (2) testing, maintaining, and delivering best in class products, and (3) providing remote support to DOD clients on the employment of MAX products operationally and in exercises and test events.


Role and Responsibilities
• Under the guidance and supervision of the Technical Product Manager, assist in the design, development, and management of MAX’s technical products.
• Systems integration, testing, and reporting.
• Update and maintain course curriculum to remain current with product changes.
• Update and maintain user documentation to remain current with product changes.
• Remote support to customers using MAX products.
• Systems troubleshooting, bug identification, test plan execution, and documentation related to system baselines.
• Assist in the delivery of training on MAX products and the maintenance of programs of instruction.

Skills and Experience
• Firm understanding of IP networking and computer information systems.
• Knowledgeable in wireless communication protocols such as Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
• Experienced with Windows and Linux operating systems; command line knowledge.
• Experienced troubleshooting complex electronic systems for hardware and software faults.
• Experienced operating or supporting government-off-the-shelf electronic systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architecture and solutions; building/maintaining VPS’s.
• Knowledge of windows registry modification, security settings, user groups, and best practices.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
