ITility is seeking a Project Support Specialist to assist our Plant Services - Cable Refresh Team with operational and administrative support. This role requires frequent travel to project sites across the U.S. and involves hands-on support for project logistics, coordination, and onsite duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a willingness to adapt to dynamic environments. This position is remote with travel, 4-8 weeks per trip, 4-6 times per year, both locally and out of state.

This position requires the successful candidate to be able to complete and pass a background investigation commensurate with level IT-II for T3 or T3R. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer, and the start date will be determined after an interim clearance is granted.

You’ll be working on our prime contract supporting the USMEPCOM, a major command within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), responsible for screening and processing applicants into the U.S. Armed Forces. USMEPCOM operates 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) across the U.S., serving as the critical link between recruitment and training for the armed forces. Key Responsibilities:
* Travel Coordination: Assist the Project Manager and Site Leads with travel arrangements, negotiating lodging, and travel logistics. Assist in scheduling, arranging, preparing, and reconciliation of travel arrangements.
* Trip Reporting: Work with Site Lead to document activities, project progress, and key observations.
* Onsite Support: Help maintain organized and safe workspaces, facilitate team communication, support day-to-day operations and keeping the work areas clean and organized. Ensure cables running down the hallway are marked with caution signs, vacuuming up ceiling tile dust, drywall debris, wire clippings, ensuring tools/cables/components are removed from MEPS workspaces at the end of each day. Maintain the first aid kits and make sure they’re unpacked and easily accessible, run to Home Depot/Lowes to get trash bags/firestop/compressed air cans, or other needed items.
* Inventory & Shipping: Manage supplies, track shipments, and coordinate equipment movement between project sites.
* Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with project teams, onsite client liaisons, and stakeholders.
* General Support: Perform additional administrative and logistical tasks as needed to ensure successful * project execution.
* Assists/supports other ad hoc related projects or assignments.

Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in logistics, project coordination, or administrative support.
* Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen (Active DoD clearance preferred)

* Ability to take directions from management and keep tasks on schedule.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Strong attention to detail with an organized and methodical approach
* Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations
* Dependability: Follows instructions, responds to management direction, and keeps commitments
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Working Conditions:
* Must be willing and available to travel away from home for several weeks at a time (up to 75%).
* Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. as part of supporting onsite operations.
* Must have a valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
* Dress appropriately for the job environment, which may include professional settings or fieldwork conditions.
