The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Organization has a need for a Flight Test Engineer in Berkeley, MO for F15 international flight test programs (Qatar, Saudi, Korea, Japan, Israel, Singapore). The successful candidate will provide leadership through coordination of the Flight Test Work Statement with the various functions and support groups in the organization (Flight Operations; Flight Test Operations; Instrumentation & Data Systems - Test Software & Telemetry, System Design & Development, System Design, Installation Design, and Operations; Fabrication and Assembly). Tasks include coordination of activities leading to successful execution of a flight test program. These include things such as coordinating program flight test requirements, coordinating data requirements, supporting the manufacturing and modification of a test vehicle, oversight of the planning of the flight test program, ensuring the preparation of the test team, and interfacing with the customer.
This position is primarily for 1st shift; however, various shifts, nights, weekends and alternate shifts may be required to meet program objectives.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Lead or Senior Level Flight Test Engineers.

Summary Pay Range for Lead (Level 4): $113,900 - $154,100
Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 5): $136,000 - $184,000

Position Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers
- Develop flight test and mission profiles, develop and publish test plans, create flight test cards, and manage test schedules
- Identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities with company and government agencies
- Establish test planning working groups, plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews, and conduct pre and posttest briefings
- Conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures
- Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution
- Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports
- Responsible for Cost Account Manager activities (CAM)
- Leads and prepares for remote site deployments
- Develops and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
- Applies lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures
- Oversees debriefing of the test team
- Approves test data prior to delivery to customer
- Formulates expectations for test data based on historical data
- Trains others
- Works under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience working on flight test program, preferably as a flight test engineer
- 5+ years of experience with the principles of flight test OR experience directly supporting flight test operations
- Experience supporting a military flight test program
- Capable to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 5: 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- An active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
