Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for directing technical work on projects.
Performs a variety of analyses and prepares appropriate documentation.
Prepares and makes briefings and presentations.
Leads team in on-site management of installations.
Works independently and installs, operates, maintains, configures, troubleshoots, and repairs IT systems devices, circuits, cables, components, software, and end-user devices, components, software, and connectivity.
Assists in the development and management of project plans. This includes the review of task performance and work products for correctness, for adherence to design concepts and user requirements, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
Coordinates with the TOPM and Government points of contact to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
Conduct testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of telecommunications devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ISDN, analog, and VoIP end-user devices, conference phones, and peripherals.
Provide Tier 2 support inclusive of a variety of telecommunications solutions, transport methods, connections, protocols, hardware, and software.
Deliver and install telecom equipment to customers and remove hardware from customer locations as required.
Update asset records and complete tickets assigned in ServiceNow.
Configure and troubleshoot VoIP hard phones, softphone numbers, Extension Mobility profiles, and voicemail.

Responsibilities Include:

Serves as the primary technical support for one or more applications.
Provides support for the monitoring and reporting (triage, break/fix, etc.), cybersecurity, configuration management, database support, privileged application administration support, and sustainment of the current COTS FES suite of applications.
Works closely with server administrators and database administrators.
Installs, configures, and maintains software products utilized by the application.
Ensures the FES suite of applications operates in accordance with DoD, DLA, and National consensus standards, maintaining the Agency’s accreditation status with the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE).
Installs and upgrades software versions, installs software patches, supports data center migrations, identifies application-specific firewall/network requirements, and setups and administers interfaces & APIs.
Provides technical support for troubleshooting including break/fix actions or incidents.
Supports application requirements being driven by organizational transformation initiatives.
Responsible for both pre-production & production environments and directly support the application’s code release process.
Implements applicable application-based Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) and provides required STIG/SRG output.
Research and implements resolution of cybersecurity vulnerabilities discovered during routine or non-routine scanning.
Provide support services to assist the PMO to manage licensing usage and the need for additional licenses, hosting.
Ensure the suite of applications securely documents the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other law enforcement information requirements and criminal investigative sensitive data including, but not limited to Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS).

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Seven (7) years of progressive IT experience.
Experience with and knowledge of a variety of telecommunications technologies.
Excellent customer support and experience providing IT support directly to end-users.
Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

DoD telecommunications experience. DLA or DISA experience is highly preferred.
CCNA certification preferred.
Information Assurance (IA) certification, such as the CompTIA Security+ CE, is preferred.
