Description:This position reports to the F-35 Supplier Quality Integration Manager and will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and one of its major suppliers on the F-35 Program regarding quality issues. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the supplier is delivering a product that meets all contractual and technical requirements. They will also be responsible for driving rapid containment and effective root cause and corrective action on quality defects escaped to the F-35 production assembly operations. Will utilize statistical methods to evaluate and initiate actions that identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in STEM-related discipline or related field or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Sufficient and proven Root Cause Analysis experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action (RCCA) utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Desired Skills:
• Supplier Quality Management Experience
• Major assembly or Teammate F-35 experience
• Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE or CMQ/OE certification.
• Demonstrated quality science expertise in one or more of the following areas: statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMAE process auditing or validation, root cause analysis and corrective action validations, and supplier quality management.
• Experience interacting with government customer.
• High energy, self-starting, team player who is accountable for personal and team goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations at working and leadership levels.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence stakeholders across the value stream (e.g. subtier, supplier, customer, Lockheed Martin)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
