Description
The Operations Support Specialist will provide essential administrative support to the MS&A team at the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL). This role combines the traditional duties of a military administrative clerk with the operational and organizational skills of a Marine Corps operations clerk, while also demonstrating the ability to interact with high-ranking military personnel.
Environment: The Operations Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at the MCWL, supporting the MS&A team and interacting with high-ranking military personnel. The role requires a strong sense of loyalty, commitment to the military mission, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

- Maintaining and updating project schedules, ensuring multiple concurrent projects are managed effectively
- Developing and delivering high-quality presentations and other documentation
- Briefing high-ranking officers and stakeholders on project status and other critical information
- Managing sensitive information and ensuring confidentiality
- Assisting team members with administrative tasks as needed
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and collaboration
- Maintaining accurate records and files
- Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and conference calls

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role, preferably within a military or government setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Desired Skills
- Experience in scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and managing sensitive information
- Ability to brief high-ranking officers and organize complex information for presentations
- Familiarity with military operations and procedures
- Strong analytical skills to address issues and concerns raised by senior officers
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for collaboration and improvement
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
