What we are looking for

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to support an upcoming contract with a federal customer.

Location: Prefer local to DMV, but remote is acceptable. The selected candidate must be currently located in a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of project staff.
• Oversee contract performance and customer relationships.
• Utilize PMP methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with NSF, HHS, DoD regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
• Manage program risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Monitor program performance and prepare reports for stakeholders, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule.
• Ensure all team members meet IT/security-related training requirements as stipulated by DoD and other governing bodies.
• Demonstrate servant leadership, coach teams in SAFe and Agile best practices, stay updated on MS Azure Cloud technologies, understand business requirements promptly, resolve conflicts, and apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps processes.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with Federal, DoD, DA, and USACE enterprise and data architecture requirements
• Provide subject matter expertise in system change requests, configuration management, and policy implementation related to RFMIS and other Real Estate systems.
• Promote compliance with Section 508 requirements and other accessibility standards.

What you bring

Experience, Education & Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years leading Program Support teams within an Agile framework.
  • Proven experience overseeing federal IT compliance requirements and team management, within a federal contracted environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology, project management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK), and frameworks such as ITIL or CMMI.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with HHS, DoD, or similar government agencies.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Qlik or Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation initiatives, improving service delivery, business performance, and data quality.

Clearance Requirements:
  • An active Secret Clearance is required
