Currently, RBR is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Security ISSO to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cloud security requirements in accordance with DoD Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security architectures and service models.
  • Knowledge of core networking technologies such as (firewalls, routers, switches, Virtual Private Network (VPN), Web Application Firewalls (WAF)).
  • Knowledge of IA best practices, Risk Management, Risk Assessments, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and Risk Mitigation.
  • Participate in meetings and provide consultation on security engineering.
  • Educate and provide guidance to the mission partner on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) policy as it relates to information security practices.
  • Manage Information Security (INFOSEC) Compliance through assessment, authorization, and documentation in accordance with NIST 800-37.
  • Use eMASS rev4 and rev5 to maintain authorization packages, introduce new packages, and appropriate change requests.
  • Educate and provide guidance to the mission partner in utilizing eMASS or similar commercial tools.
  • Review new technology solutions and document their effect on security.
  • Respond to and comply with IA Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs).
  • Assist in the successful completion of Security Readiness Reviews (SRRs).
  • Ability to document security procedures and create security processes.
  • Support and engineer cross-domain solutions.
  • Administer, audit, and monitor systems and networks.
  • Ensure networks and systems being developed implement DoD baseline IA Controls.
  • Ensure networks and systems being developed are based on evaluated commercial off the shelf and government off-the shelf products per policy.
  • Educate and provide guidance to the mission partner on Cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and remediation techniques.
  • Perform senior level briefings and interface with customers.
  • Prepare documentation in support of classified environment.
  • Access, utilize, and report statuses on classified environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years IA/Cybersecurity
  • Must have two or more of the following certifications at the time of contract start: Security+, CISSP, CAP, CCSP or Network+
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance
