Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking a Systems Analyst to support the Special Access Program (SAP) Information Technology (IT) program under the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role you will provide system analysis and expertise for compliance with physical security directives.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for physical security accreditation, providing written reports and recommendations for mitigation actions and techniques.
- Provide assistance and recommendations for SAP security incident investigations, classification guidance of written materials including paragraph and portion marking, and the Classification Management working group.
- Collaborate with the security management team to develop and maintain emergency plans.
- Perform assessments and plan and manage reconfigurations of staff space usage, equipment, and other functions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee meeting room operations to include configuration options, attendee access management including Visitor Authorization Requests, maintaining and managing room calendars and appropriate viewing permissions, providing instructions for operating the meeting room and conducting classified sessions, and ensuring the conference room equipment is fully operational.
- Provide inventory lifecycle management, tracking, and record-keeping for government-owned property to include SAP IT equipment and material.
- Conduct ongoing professional development for facilities management personnel, focusing on regulatory changes, technological advancements, and best practices.
- Perform Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) by developing information bulletins, hosting brown bag sessions, and creating security awareness day that focuses on a variety of training awareness.
- Develop and maintain required facilities and security Standard Operating Procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as information systems, computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, or similar.
- 5+ years' related experience.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in physical security, personnel security, information management, and / or facilities management.
- Ability to be rotationally available for on-call services for emergency repairs that could affect security or operations (e.g., power outages, security systems failure, assistance with security procedures).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of DoD CIO and SAP IT.
