Senior Data Analyst

Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking a Systems Analyst to support the Special Access Program (SAP) Information Technology (IT) program under the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role you will provide system analysis to enhance current or implement new capabilities for data management and governance.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, propose, and integrate data governance tools and technologies to automate and enhance the management of data across the DoD enterprise and enable end-to-end data management.
• Evaluate and select data governance tools that meet DoD requirements for data management, metadata management, and data lineage tracking.
• Design a data governance framework that outlines roles, responsibilities, processes, and policies for managing data across the DoD enterprise.
• Develop workflows for data management, including data classification, lifecycle management, and data access controls.
• Define clear data governance policies, including roles and responsibilities for data ownership, stewardship, and custodianship.
• Support a Data Governance Board to oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of data governance policies, ensuring the secure, compliant, and effective use of data across the DoD enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as information technology, computer science, mathematics, engineering or physics.
• 10+ years' related experience.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the enterprise, logic, systems, programming, and components, and a broad range of knowledge across the organization business, data, technology, applications, and organizational views.
• Demonstrated understanding of DoD information management and technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of DoD CIO and SAP IT.
• Ability to plan and lead major work assignments.
