Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking a Sr. Mission Assurance Analyst to conduct Base Defense Risk Management Process Assessments (BDRMP) at selected Pacific bases. You will support the pre-site survey analysis, mission decomposition function, scheduling function and risk assessment working book development to integrate the threats and hazards, as well as provide training during the site visit for BDRMP and Antiterrorism Level II for installation personnel.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Risk Management Mission Assurance Risk Management Systems and SharePoint or other designated systems to receive, transmit and archive BDRMP analysis
  • Provide Tactical, Operational and Strategic understanding of the application of the RMP, Base Defense and DoD Mission Assurance Assessment (MAA) Concept of Operations (CONOP) and MA Strategy Implementation Framework
  • Gather information, provide formalized feedback, and conduct analysis in support of Base Defense Risk Assessments to include Mission Assurance Assessments, Weapon System Security Deviations, Task Critical Assets, Critical Infrastructure and Protection Level Deviations
  • Conduct MA analysis in support of the Headquarters (HQ) Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) A4S
  • Provide Base Defense (BD) analysis and review of the AF Weapon System Security Deviations and Protection Level Designations as directed by DAFI 31-101
  • Review draft publications, guidance memorandums, CONOPS and other guidance from Headquarters Air Force (HAF) for adverse impacts to protection of assets and personnel located in the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) or updates to MA and BD program execution
  • Track the status of BD publication coordination and review/provide feedback on HQ PACAF/A4S adjudication of comments received during coordination
  • Guide the use of the BDRMP tool in the field, and provide feedback for improvement

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree or higher may be substituted and require 2 years of experience)
  • 5 years relevant experience related to conducting Mission Assurance and CONOPS for Base Risk Assessment at a Major Command (MAJCOM) or equivalent HQ-level staff
  • Detailed understanding of the Enterprise Risk Management Tool and Mission Assurance Risk Management System
  • Posses Tactical, Operational and Strategic understanding of the application of the BDRMP as outlined inD AFI 31-101, Integrated Defense
  • Experience coordinating publications in the Air Force publication process
  • Experience working with Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Continuity of Operations (COOP), Combatant Command Operations Plans (OPLANs) and DoDIs 6055.17, 3020.40, 3020.45 and 2000.16

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Base Defense Planning, Mission Assurance pillars and their implementation with regard to Base Defense Planning supporting Mission Assurance Assessments, Weapon System Security Protection and Deviations, Task Critical Assets, Critical Infrastructure and Protection Level Protection and Deviations
  • Experience with Security Forces operations and in-depth knowledge of DoD, Joint and Air Force MA and BD publications
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency of the English language, both written and oral
  • Experience as a headquarters Action Officer and/or Assessment Team member focused on antiterrorism (AT), Force Protection, Emergency Management, and deliberate planning is preferred
  • Experience with contingency deployment, joint operational and operational knowledge of joint publications, to include leadership experience in BD operations to produce relevant and current BD guidance

Full Time Salary Range for this position for this position:

$90,000 - $100,000 USD
