The Opportunity:
- As an Executive Coach you will coach, mentor, train, advise, and consult with Shipyard executives at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF). The achievement of NAVSEA's vision and mission depends on developing high-performing Shipyard executives who are agile, flexible, and responsive to change. Mentoring and coaching are essential components for Shipyard executive development and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop people, transform culture, improve performance, and achieve results through executive coaching-based modalities and application of organizational leadership principles.
- Use industry best practices and innovative methodologies to provide executive coaching, team development, facilitation, consultation, data gathering, research, analytical support, and subject matter expertise to augment and continue ongoing initiatives leading to a more efficient and higher performing organization at the executive level.
- The candidate hired for this position will serve as a subcontractor for Orbis, Inc. (prime federal government contractor).
- The majority of work is on the customer site, embedded in an industrial environment, to ensure customer needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high performance executive leadership coaching support to Shipyard executives who are experiencing increasing demands in coordinating work, developing their people, and maintaining levels of excellence in leadership and teaming necessary to ensure mission success.
- Develop a strategic business and execution plan for leadership and teaming with a defined process, performance expectations, measures, and metrics aligned to drive the behaviors and results desired by the Command.
- Engage and collaborate with the Commanding Officer, Department Heads, and other Shipyard leaders to improve leadership and teaming competencies, strategic vision development, change management, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.
- Use applicable Shipyard-based Command philosophy, strategic frameworks, high performance organization models, and leadership and team competencies to identify gaps, make recommendations, and document/integrate decisions.
- Provide leadership and team coaching to assigned executives and working groups with a focus on organizational leadership, trust and transparency, and process and performance improvement.
- Through regular interactive executive leadership coaching and engagement, coach Shipyard executives on the core methods, tools, and processes that enable Command-wide, systemic, sustainable change as evidenced by specific outcomes. Communicate regularly with the Coaching Sponsor and assigned executives to adapt methodologies necessary to optimize individual potential and to increase team capabilities that further drive organizational change to align with NAVSEA.
- Facilitate development workshops, meetings, training, and focus groups.
- Develop individual leadership and teaming competencies to build cross-functional capabilities for assigned executives aligned with NAVSEA and Shipyard defined competencies.
- Provide periodic updates, reports, and briefings discussing activities, observations, findings, and recommendations.
- Work with CACI teammates to establish, track, and internally/externally report metrics related to stakeholder goals and objectives.
- Provide progress reports and other types of reports to Orbis, Inc.
- Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be a United States Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DOD Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, minimum 5 years of executive-level coaching experience, and minimum 3 years of experience in executive leadership development, facilitation, organizational development, change management, supervisory leadership, learning organizations, or process and performance improvement. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum 8 years of directly applicable work experience may be considered for this position.
- Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from International Coach Federation (ICF). Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential is preferred.
- Ability to coach and to distinguish between coaching, mentoring, training, and consulting.
- Professional maturity and confidence to engage stakeholders, teams, and systems in complex environments.
- Proficiency in executive, managerial, and administrative duties to support senior-level customers. Experience facilitating meetings attended by senior leadership.
- Ability to concisely present information, conduct data analysis, and lead change initiatives.
- High emotional intelligence and positive relationship building.
- Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and time management, and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks efficiently.
Desired:
