FedWriters is building a team to provide Business Operations and Executive Support Services to the Defense Health Agency's Solution Delivery Division (SDD), Risk Management Executive Division (RMED), and Assistant Director for Health Care Administration (ADHCA). This position will develop and implement strategies for military personnel support, civilian personnel support, and manpower support within the DHA environment.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. The position requires onsite presence at the Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ) in Falls Church, VA as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level guidance on manpower, performance management, workforce planning and human capital management
  • Support federal/military employee recruitment, onboarding, and personnel actions
  • Assist with identification of positions to fill and manage hiring actions
  • Coordinate with military Personnel Services Division for military billets
  • Develop workforce plans and human capital strategies
  • Prepare reports and analyses on workforce metrics and trends
  • Support development of organizational structures and position descriptions


Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Army, Navy, and Air Force military personnel and manpower programs and regulations
  • Knowledgeable in manpower, performance management, workforce planning and human capital management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint
  • Familiarity with the DoD and the Defense Health Agency highly desired
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Experience with federal hiring processes and personnel systems
  • Requires a Secret security clearance
