Position Overview

NexTech Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to join our growing team in the Tampa, FL area. This executive-level role will play a pivotal part in driving the company's strategic business development efforts while expanding NexTech's footprint within high-priority defense markets, particularly with military commands and other related defense organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the company's marketing vision and business development initiatives across multiple organizations and geographic markets.
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the defense sector, focusing on key military commands in Tampa, Florida, and their subordinate units.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, such as senior government and military officials.
  • Participate in meetings and interact with personnel at local defense organizations
  • Foster long-term relationships with key government and military stakeholders to position NexTech for future growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the proposal process for new opportunities, ensuring it aligns with both client requirements and company goals.
  • Oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs to guide strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development targets, ensuring growth and revenue generation.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including senior leadership, to align business development strategies with NexTech's long-term objectives and capabilities.
  • Manage and mentor a team of high-level individual contributors, driving business development, proposals, and other supporting activities.
