Overall Assignment Description:
Join a dynamic team of Mid-level Systems Engineers who are at the forefront of shaping the future of geospatial intelligence! In this role, you'll blend cutting-edge technology with innovative problem-solving to drive requirements engineering, solutions design, and systems integration across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), the Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and multiple Federal Agencies. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that our GEOINT capabilities are not only accurate and reliable but also agile and resilient to meet today's fast-paced mission demands.

What You'll Do:
- Innovate & Integrate: Lead the charge in requirements engineering and solutions design, developing breakthrough system architectures that streamline processes, automate tasks, and enhance overall system performance.
- Collaborate & Inspire: Work hand-in-hand with government stakeholders to capture mission-critical needs and translate them into robust system requirements and capabilities that power national security.
- Plan & Optimize: Dive into strategic planning, traceability analysis, and problem-solving to improve cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling-ensuring seamless integration across multiple platforms.
- Analyze & Enhance: Engage in comprehensive systems integration activities, conduct rigorous Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments to ensure your solutions are not just innovative but also practical and mission-ready.
- Drive Excellence: Support strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, and risk management initiatives, playing a key role in enhancing system reliability and resiliency.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background & Experience: A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, with 6-12 years of hands-on experience in government or industry.
- Technical Expertise: Proven mid-level systems engineering skills within DoD/IC Acquisition processes, Requirements Processes, and large complex systems or Service Oriented Architectures in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Tableau is essential.
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, software development frameworks, and a background in geospatial intelligence-plus active participation in professional organizations such as ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, or USGIF.
