Business Intelligence / Data Analyst
Required Experience:
Business Intelligence / Data Analyst will assist with business process improvements by utilizing their business intelligence and data analytical skills across the client’s organization by:
• Provide Business Intelligence (BI) support for government Program Management Office initiatives, including generating and delivering BI reports, data visualizations, and actionable insights that support decision-making and progress tracking.
• Enhance and optimize SharePoint portals by recommending improvements in design, structure, and user experience, ensuring that portals meet government-specific standards and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver written and oral recommendations to government stakeholders on BI reports, dashboards, and data views, helping to identify project progress, delays, and other key metrics related to work initiatives and SharePoint portal development.
• Enhance product and service quality through continuous feedback, mentoring, and process improvements, leveraging data-driven insights to refine government operations and service delivery.
• Define, develop, and institutionalize standards to ensure consistent, measurable performance across the organization, aligning with government regulations and compliance standards for all BI processes.
• Conduct process improvement initiatives, leveraging BI tools and APIs to identify inefficiencies and optimize workflows, while ensuring that all internal audits comply with government standards and best practices.
• Utilize customer, industry, and business trends to provide relevant insights, ensuring that BI solutions and recommendations meet the evolving objectives and regulations of government projects.
• Review, validate, and enhance business processes through the integration of advanced BI tools, APIs, and analytics platforms, making actionable recommendations to improve project efficiency and compliance.
• Provide feedback, mentoring, and training to staff on BI tools, API integrations, and process improvements, supporting skill development and ensuring compliance with government standards and policies.
• Develop and institutionalize Business Process standards, templates, policies, and guidelines in support of Agile Software Development frameworks, Scrum Project Management, and Team Foundation Server workflows. Also, adapt legacy processes where appropriate to ensure smooth transitions to modern methodologies and systems.
• Support performance measurement and metrics analysis for government projects and programs, leveraging BI tools, API integrations, and other data sources to implement effective tracking, reporting, and improvement strategies.
• Provide ITIL implementation and reporting expertise, focusing on applying IT service management practices to government projects, including developing IT chargeback models for data centers and supporting the government’s enterprise-wide IT services through scalable API solutions.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline)
• Minimum 6 years in:
Using Information Technology based applications to implement process improvement and reengineering methodologies to client business processes. Duties may include:
Data analysis and data modeling activities
Developing improvements to business methods on IT related projects
Transition planning introduction, and integration of new IT processes
Group facilitation and training for newly implemented IT processes
Act as key coordinator between multiple process stakeholders and project.
• Must have a minimum of Secret Clearance
