Description
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch network monitoring and management tools
• Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and manage alerts for network anomalies
• Set up and manage alerts for network anomalies, ensuring a timely response
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all network hardware and software assets, including routers,
switches, servers, firewalls, and licenses.
• Ensure that all changes to the network inventory are accurately recorded and updated in real-time.
• Work closely with network engineers, IT support teams, and other stakeholders to ensure network
inventory needs are met.
• Continually monitor and fine-tune performance of Information Systems, conducting analyses of
network usage, user complaints, traffic interruptions, hardware and software capabilities, and other
relevant factors.
• Create, update and comply with SOPs and other documentation.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS,
DHCP, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools such as OpenText NOM, Nagios, PRTG
Network Monitor, Wireshark, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and integration
with network tools.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams,
configurations, and policies.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Strong data analysis skills to generate actionable insights from network data.
